Varsity Tennis Match Recap

April 13, 2018
GCS vs. Metrolina Christian Academy

FINAL SCORE
GCS 0 MCA 9

As the players took the court in their Pink-Out attire, we honored those who have (or are) battling cancer.  We celebrate the victories that are being won against cancer, while we remember that some continue to battle through the illness. And we also celebrated a tennis victory that is not measured the final score.  While the top six battled in their singles and doubles matches, Alex Duncan played in the first-ever tennis match of his career.  Watching him win a few games earns him the honor of being the honorary "Player of the Match". And a shout-out to Jonathan Kuhn for battling hard against their #4 player, coming up short in his 5-7, 3-6 loss.
